Most Blessed Sacrament parish is seeking a passionate missionary disciple with gifts for music and administration to prepare and provide music for Sunday and other special liturgies and develop a comprehensive music ministry for the parish including directing the choirs, coordinating musicians, leading weekly rehearsals, as well as training and recruiting music ministry team members. The right candidate has a passion for making parish life better through the liturgy, and appreciates the power of music to evangelize hearts, lives, and communities. He or she also expresses a desire to honor, respect, and continue to grow in understanding the theological, historical, spiritual, pastoral, and juridical principles of liturgy in the way the Church intends. Additional responsibilities include planning and playing music for Sunday Masses, Holy Days, and other special events, researching, recommending, acquiring and maintaining all liturgical worship materials for the assembly including missals, song books, worship aids, and copyright, and training and recruiting volunteer musicians.
