Job Title: Data Modeler - W2/Fulltime only - We can provide sponsorship

Duration: Long Term

Location: Jersey City, NJ/Merrimack, NH/Boston, MA/Smithfield, RI - Hybrid

Must Have:

- PowerDesigner

- PL/SQL: intermediate level (Be able to write queries)

- Informatica Catalog experience (NOT informatica ETL experience)

Nice to Have:

- Swagger - (won't be developing API's, someone else is building the APIs, they will be building the model for what another team will code)

- Conceptual/logical/physical data models

- Cryptocurrency experience and knowledge is fine, but not a must

- Leadership skills

- Financial Industry experience

Qualifications

Education and Experience (dependent on level)

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years’ experience with data design, analysis, and development. Development experience weighted towards PL/SQL and ETL tools.
• Demonstrated experience in the following areas : Database Management Systems, Data API design and implementation, PL/SQL, warehouses, data modeling and data profiling.

Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrable experience with SAP Power Designer or similar data modeling tool required.
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
• Advanced understanding of the database development process including analysis, design, coding, testing, problem resolution and planning, and full competency in all relevant coding environments, languages, tools, and platforms
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical associates in the company
• Proven interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate optimally at all levels of management and peers.
• Experience in working in data management / governance with an understanding on how data is ingested, stored, and maintained.
• Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture
• Ability to prioritize data analysis initiatives based on business criticality.
• Experience in the financial services industry area a plus
• Knowledge in cryptocurrency area a plus.
