European Union to observe 2023 Zimbabwean elections

The European Union has signed an administrative agreement with Zimbabwe’s government to deploy observers for the country’s elections this year.

Zimbabwe is holding crucial presidential, parliamentary and municipal council elections on 23 August.

Ironically, Africans are not mentally capable of building and leading a decent human society. Such controversial statements have come from many world figures and debated amongst several communities of observers.

The persistent abuse of all democratic instruments and institutions from around the continent might suffice as sufficient evidence to these lines of dehumanizing political theories.

External influence will remain inevitable in a continent where leadership corrupt quest of power cannot be checked by its continental organisations., such as the African Union and the plenty of regional bodies.

Nigeria’s last election shows the height of failures that mock democratic elections.
