About DIASPOINT

DIASPOINT is an acronym that defines a point of assemblage for issues, actors, and activities in African migrant community.

DIASPOINT provides social media space for African migrants and their stakeholders. As a community building platform.

DIASPOINT was initiated in 2016 by concerned African migrants as a social project that is open to all and for the sole purpose of social cohesion.

DIASPOINT activities are built on the vital synergies to inspire, motivate, and encourage migrants to be part of events in their host country. Thus, the platform also bridges communication gap between the communities of African migrants and that of collaborating institutional stakeholders.

The mission is to bridge existing communication gap between the various ethnic associations that sustain the African migrant community.

DIASPOINT main instruments are the tools of social media channels created and made open to enable swift dissemination of news and information. News and information shared on this platform are contributed by members of the members of the benefitting and stakeholders communities.

The conveners of this platform advice readers to take responsibility of fact checking the news for correctness.

African migrants

DIASPOINT keeps African migrants informed on trends of development not only in their respective country of origin but also in other allied African countries. Within the environment of our host countries, DIASPOINT strives to achieve an inclusive social cohesion where African migrants are part of the whole.
