Zelenskyy plans a visit to South Africa

South Africa must see opportunities to tell Zelenskyy to abandon arrogant war-hero mentality to allow peace
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will head to South Africa later this year, South Africa’s International Relations & Cooperation Minister, Naledi Pandor, said, local media Business Day reported on April 7.
Zelenskyy will make an official state visit to South Africa within the next few months to bolster ties with African nations amid Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president intends to visit the country to “establish stronger trade links with South Africa and also wishes to discuss the nature of the relationship once the matter of the war has been settled,” Pandor said.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, alongside leaders from several other African nations, paid a visit to Kyiv in June 2023.
Truth can be hard to tell from fiction these days. Every viewpoint has its audience of backers and supporters, no matter how absurd.
If conscious disinformation is reinforced by state propaganda apparatus and budget, its outcomes may become deadly.
There is no solution to this, other than independent, honest, and accurate reporting.
