Two Kenyan teenage brothers in the Kapsilibwa Village Choronk area in Sagamian Location in Narok South Sub-County are reported to have committed suicide by hanging.

The two brothers, aged 17 and 19 years, are said to have hanged themselves on a tree along the Amalo River.

“The reason for agreeing to commit suicide was that their father had two wives and that the elder one who had been divorced many years ago returned home and the father decided to give her a piece of land,” a police report said.

The report said the two deceased brothers disputed the decision and even threatened to kill the whole stepfamily and their father.

Police indicted that the two had previous criminal records where they even stole in two churches in the area among other things.
