Sudan marks 1 year of brutal civil war as humanitarian crisis worsens

This week marks one year since the start of war in Sudan. What began as an internal power struggle has produced the world’s largest displacement crisis. More than 8 million people have fled their homes, around 16 million are facing catastrophic levels of hunger and tens of thousands have been killed.
