President William Ruto on Wednesday October 4 nominated, and redeployed ambassadors and High Commissioners for the first time since assuming office in September 2022.

Among the new envoys is suspended Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) CEO Terry Ramadhani who has been named as Kenya’s deputy ambassador to India.

Ramadhani was suspended in May after allegations of misconduct inside KEMSA surrounding a botched procurement process that threatened to cost Kenya Ksh3.7 billion.

• Willy Bat Beijing – China
• Jane Wairimu Ndurumo – Pretoria, South Africa
• George Morara Orina – Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
