A Day in the Life of a VP of Engineering

As the VP of Engineering , you will lead a lean but highly skilled engineering team in designing, building, and scaling enterprise SaaS solutions for government agencies and healthcare organizations. You will be responsible for driving technical strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing cloud-based architectures to support mission-critical applications. Your leadership will be instrumental in advancing AI/ML capabilities, automating systems, and maintaining a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and scaling the engineering team , ensuring a balance of expertise and efficiency
• Overseeing architecture, development, and deployment of large-scale, cloud-native SaaS solutions
• Driving innovation in AI/ML applications to enhance product capabilities
• Ensuring regulatory compliance for healthcare, finance, and government-related software solutions
• Collaborating with product, sales, and customer success teams to align engineering initiatives with business goals
• Communicating technical strategy and product roadmap to C-suite executives and clients
• Representing the company at industry conferences and thought leadership events

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government)
• Expertise in enterprise SaaS development, cloud-native solutions, and AWS infrastructure
• Strong background in Python, Django, Kotlin, Swift, SQL, Redshift, and cloud development
• Passion for AI/ML technologies and their application in software solutions
• Experience scaling and managing engineering teams while keeping them lean and efficient
• Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives, clients, and industry leaders
• High-agency, adaptable mindset with a bias for action and innovation
