Job Description

This is a W2 contract with no C-C or any sponsorship of H-1B visas.

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will be responsible for the design and development of advanced BI applications, data models, and analytics solutions to support self-service analysis. Utilizing SDLC best practices, the BI Developer will collaborate closely with Product Management, Data Platforms, and Program Management teams to build a comprehensive understanding of business processes and data relationships. This role will focus on creating analytical solutions tailored to the needs of Ad Sales and Finance organizations within the Media industry.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing BI applications using Qlik Sense on Qlik Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in Qlik Set Expressions, Qlik Data Models, and Qlik scripting.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and working with Snowflake data warehouses.
• Knowledge of SDLC best practices for analytics and BI development.
• Ability to design user-friendly dashboards and reporting tools for self-service analytics. Ex
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into BI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Familiarity with additional BI tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, or Looker.
• Understanding of Ad Sales and Finance workflows, particularly within the Media industry.
• Experience using Qlik CLI for automation and deployment tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices in BI solutions.
• Effective communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS/MIS or related field

Additional Information:

Glendale or Santa Monica only - 4 days onsite in office. No remote work.

Min of 5 years' experience needed.
