We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to join our team in our Richardson, TX, office.

Goliath made a major shift in the company's direction this year by evolving from primarily a game company to a significant player in the broader toy industry. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and maximizing efficiencies.

About the Role

The Social Media Manager will oversee all aspects of Goliath US social media strategy, including content creation, community engagement, analytics, and campaign management. This role is critical in building brand awareness, driving engagement, and connecting with our target audiences across platforms. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create compelling campaigns that showcase our brand’s innovation and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing and brand goals for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Partner with our PR agency to track campaigns and align on influencer strategy
  • Manage the social media budget, including allocating resources for paid campaigns and influencer partnerships.
  • Strategize and execute both paid and organic social media campaigns to grow brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, follower growth, website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI from social media efforts.
  • Create, schedule, and share engaging content, including visuals, captions, and videos, that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize campaigns and inform strategy.
  • Engage with our community, responding to comments, messages, and UGC in a timely and authentic manner.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and brand storytelling initiatives.
  • Stay on the pulse of social media trends, platform updates, and competitive analysis to ensure our strategy remains fresh and relevant.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to maintain a consistent visual and brand identity across all channels.
  • Conduct periodic audits of social media platforms to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the toy, entertainment, or consumer goods industries.
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging audiences on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong understanding of both paid and organic social media strategies, with hands-on experience managing paid campaigns.
  • Budget management experience and the ability to track spending effectively.
  • Proficiency in reporting KPIs to measure campaign performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to each platform.
  • Experience with analytics tools like Sprout Social, or native platform insights to measure and optimize performance.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative content ideas.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CapCut) are a plus.
  • Self-starter with passion for toys, games, and building an online community.
