Position: Senior SEO Specialist (Remote)
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience

Role Overview

In this role, you'll lead content marketing, website optimization, and technical SEO for clients, focusing on traffic growth and lead generation. You'll set and measure KPIs, keeping an eye on the metrics that matter most for success.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough site audits, analyses, and keyword research to develop actionable, KPI-aligned strategies.
Engage directly with clients during campaign kick-offs and provide updates to clearly communicate strategies and outcomes.
Optimize on-page elements, including page titles, meta descriptions, headers, alt text, and anchor text.
Track and assess site performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.
Identify and execute opportunities for ongoing site enhancements and improvements.
Oversee the launch of websites and landing pages.
Implement and monitor local SEO and link-building campaigns.
Write SEO-optimized content, including blogs and website copy.
Develop PR content, such as media pitches, guest posts, and articles.
Research and analyze trending topics across a range of industries.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, including updates in GA4, algorithm changes, and Core Web Vitals.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

Education & Experience: BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
Agency Background: At least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience within a digital agency setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Majestic, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
Technical SEO Abilities: Experience with site launches, site audits, and troubleshooting.
Exceptional Communication: Strong writing skills and client-facing communication abilities.
Web Development Familiarity: Experience with HTML, CSS, WordPress, and Webflow.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Organized & Adaptable: Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
Remote-Work Ready: Proven success working in a remote environment.
