The Role:

The Housing Program Coordinator leads MHRSB’s housing responsibilities. The position works closely with providers, vendors, and local, state, and federal partners to ensure housing programs—including permanent supportive housing, recovery housing, and family care homes—meet regulatory standards and community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Management: Oversee housing programs, develop policies, ensure compliance.
• Collaboration: Partner with providers, housing authorities, vendors, and Continuum of Care.
• Property Oversight: assess MHRSB’s housing inventory to ensure appropriate quantity, location, and alignment with client needs.
• Financial Oversight: Create and monitor budgets, ensure proper use of funds.
• Reporting: Maintain records and submit reports on outcomes and compliance.
• Community Engagement: Represent MHRSB in meetings, conduct outreach and education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Admin, or Planning, with 5+ years housing program experience, or related combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local housing regulations and programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to sites and attend evening/weekend meetings as needed.
