Kelly Science is seeking a Scientist experience in Immuno-oncology for a growing company located in Rochester, MN.

Salary: $80,000-95,000/year

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct in vivo studies with laboratory mice, encompassing experimental planning, protocol development, procedure execution, and subsequent analysis.
• Work collaboratively with research scientists to design and execute in vivo experiments, contributing to the study's design, sample size estimation, and statistical analysis.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive study documentation, including SOPs, reports, and accurate record-keeping.
• Perform detailed observations and measurements to assess the physiological and clinical effects of experimental treatments, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Administer test articles and collect biological samples, strictly adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure adherence to institutional animal care and use protocols.
• Independently design and conduct in vitro studies, performing a range of assays such as cytokine analysis and flow cytometry, while strictly following established protocols.
• Provide conceptual input for experimental design and mentor junior team members.
• Coordinate research activities with multidisciplinary scientific teams in cross-functional projects.
• Collect, analyze, and present scientific findings in detailed reports and presentations to research and management teams, including recommendations for subsequent steps.

Qualifications:

• PhD in immunology, cancer biology or a related scientific field
• Minimum of 3 years of industry or academic experience in immunology, in vivo oncology or pharmacology.
• Must have experience working with mice, working with various mammalian cell lines, multicolor flow cytometry, ELISpot, and Luminex.
• Experience in CAR-T cell therapy strongly preferred.
