About the Role

The SAP SCM Business Analyst will serve as a key advisor to the S/4 HANA project team, ensuring the procurement module aligns with our client's Supply Chain Management processes. Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and the project team, the SAP SCM Business Analyst will provide expertise in procurement and workflows to tailor the system to user needs. Responsibilities include overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), developing training materials, and creating step-by-step guides for end-user adoption. Additionally, the role involves supporting daily activities of the Contracting and Sourcing team under the guidance of the Vice President of Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for procurement processes, providing detailed guidance to the S4 HANA project team on the SAP S4 HANA design requirements, focusing on best practice.
  • Develop a clear understanding of current SCM processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the system integrator solution experts/project team and internal stakeholders to ensure the procurement module design aligns with business processes.
  • Participate in workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and design reviews.
  • Analyze current SAP procurement configuration, customizations, integrations and workflows and translate them into specifications for new system design.
  • Develop SCM test plans and scenarios for system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) related to the SAP procurement module.
  • Execute testing activities to validate that the system meets design specifications, operational requirements, and compliance standards in conjunction with the SAP Project team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • 7 years+ extensive experience in supply chain, preferably in Offshore, Oil Service or Marine industry within a contracting and sourcing function.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, and inventory integration.
  • 7 years+ SAP supply chain experience, SAP SCM configuration experience would be helpful.
  • Experience on multiple successful SAP S4 HANA project implementation projects.
