Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA project manager who will be responsible for driving our S/4 HANA project. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of the project, including planning, resource estimation, execution, and effective communication with the project team and system integrator.

Must be local to the Houston area open to going onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the project lifecycle – from planning and executing to monitoring the project to ensure it follows set timelines and budget.
• Collaborate with the System Integration Partner, ensuring adherence to project requirements and demands.
• Manage and obtain approvals for all change requests, particularly around scope and timelines.
• Efficiently manage project resources and lead the team to achieve on-time delivery.
• Address and manage issues promptly, escalating them through the project's management structure as needed. Prioritize issues and determine their impact on the business environment.
• Lead the project team in line with established project management methodology and governance to meet or exceed customer project requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, and provide them with regular program/project updates and recommendations.
• Review all deliverables throughout the project lifecycle to ensure consistency, quality, requirement traceability, and compliance with current application development and enterprise architecture standards.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project and operational risks related to resourcing, project/task dependencies and delivery risks.
• Coordinate development work with vendors and contract resources.
• Produce regular status/dashboard reports on the progress of various test cycles.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in managing SAP S/4 HANA projects.
• Strong project management skills with a demonstrated record of successful project delivery.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Knowledge of current application development and enterprise architecture standards.
