Job Description
This is a full-time exempt position responsible for the planning, coordination and supervision of year-round recreational programs and events for all ages and abilities in the Village of Jackson. The Recreation Supervisor hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates recreational staff, instructors, umpires/officials, concessionaires and volunteers. This position reports directly to the Parks & Recreation Director and works in concert with the Operations Manager. Details can be found on the full job description when applying.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years' experience in coordinating and supervising recreation activities, preferably in a community based setting. A Bachelor or Associates Degree in Recreation Administration, or related field is required. Certification through National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) as a Certified Park & Recreation Professional is desired.
Salary/Salary Range
Starting range is $60,000-$68,000 with a full Benefits Package.
