Inner Balance is a boutique mental health practice in Maryland, committed to providing personalized, high-quality medication management for individuals aged 6 through adulthood. We specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders with a holistic and compassionate approach. Please note: We have a very friendly dog on the premises almost daily who is beloved by both patients and staff. If you are uncomfortable with dogs, this may not be the right fit for you.

Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist or  Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work in-person and remotely, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, individualized care without the pressures of a high-volume practice.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, including medication management.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships through compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system (Tebra).
• Work closely with a supportive administrative team that handles scheduling, billing, and operational tasks so you can focus on clinical care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist, or licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Maryland.
• Credentialing with insurance providers (specifically CareFirst and Cigna) is preferred.
• Strong clinical experience in treating a variety of mental health conditions, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and timeliness with documentation.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.

• W-2 position with fee-for-service pay (65-70% of the reimbursed rate, paid prior to insurance reimbursement, adjusted based on actual reimbursement).
