A mid-sized Owner/Builder in Atlanta is seeking a Project Manager to join their multifamily construction division. This company specializes in a variety of project types, including affordable housing projects under HUD and LIHTC programs. They are looking for a Project Manager to lead project teams and deliver high-quality affordable housing projects across the Southeast.
Your New Role
The Project Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of the construction process for affordable multifamily projects. You will be responsible for contract management, cost control, schedule coordination, safety compliance, and quality assurance. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be eligible for the Project Manager role, you must have a B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. You must also have between 5 and 10 years of experience in the multifamily construction industry, with experience completing 2-3 HUD or LIHTC projects. Experience with a general contractor or builder/developer is preferred. You must have the skills to read and interpret construction drawings, negotiate and award subcontracts, forecast and manage project finances, and navigate the Atlanta subcontractor and vendor market. Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills are also essential.
