Job Description
DESCRIPTION
Since 2006, AWS has changed the way that companies acquire and use technology by providing a highly-scalable, secure, cost-effective, and flexible technology platform in the cloud. AWS is growing rapidly in the U.S. and around the world with customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations.
AWS Communications is looking for an experienced, versatile PR professional to join its Customer & Industries Comms team. We are seeking an exceptional candidate who will drive high-impact, integrated media relations campaigns that showcase how customers and Amazon are innovating with AWS to create new value for their customers, employees, and overall operations.
A core focus of this job will be publicizing the stories of how our retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) customers rely on AWS to power their businesses with AI, analytics, and other cloud services. AWS supports many of the world’s leading retail and CPG companies, such as Niemen-Marcus, Coca-Cola, Lululemon, Nike, Petco and, of course, Amazon.com. As we sometimes say, “AWS was born from retail, and built for retailers.”
