Opportunity Snapshot:

  • Compensation: $36/hour, DOE
  • Location: Carlsbad, NM
  • Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+
  • Assignment Duration: 12 months+

Qualifications:

  • Live within 70 miles of the Carlsbad, NM office
  • Safety oriented and dependable
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas facilities and associated hazards
  • Tank gauging
  • Sampling
  • Preventative maintenance of tank mixers and pumps
  • Internal floating roof and fixed roof tank inspections
  • Read P&IDs
  • Read and trend SCADA
  • RVP & TVP testing
  • Ability to correctly review and process tickets for goods received utilizing Open Ticket or similar invoicing software
  • Review information submitted by other operators for completeness and accuracy in KPA, FSM and JOYN or similar operation and maintenance software
  • Intermediate computer skills and able to complete data entry, build work plans and spreadsheets with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, One Note)

Responsibilities:

  • Learn to confidently and accurately operate several pieces of heavy machinery
  • Read and decipher blueprints to determine where to position machinery
  • Change settings on the machinery in order to effectively complete the tasks assigned to you
