Responsibilities:
• Create innovative, eye-catching packaging layouts that incorporate branding, technical info, and aesthetic details with an emphasis on clear communication.
• Assist in the management of packaging development projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
• Collaborate with the product development team and industrial design team to create packaging that enhances user experience and drives sales.
• Ensure all designs meet manufacturing, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
• Develop and refine product typography, packaging artwork, and graphics.
• Required to work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in kitchen electrics packaging and ensure designs reflect modern, relevant aesthetics.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of physical packaging experience designing packaging for kitchen electrics or home appliances.
• Proven professional experience working as an in-house designer within a consumer products company.
• Hands-on experience with logo design, die lines, typography, color, print production, image selection, and complex package structural design.
• Experience with packaging testing and validation. Assist in the planning and execution of packaging tests to validate performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Exceptional taste in visual design and strong attention to detail, particularly in typography and layout.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Familiarity with packaging production processes and printing materials.
