Job Description

Outside Sales Manager - GGS Structures, a world-class designer, installer, and commercial greenhouse manufacturer, based in Vineland Station, Ontario, is looking for an Outside Sales Manager to manage and grow the company’s customer base within Midwest USA + Central Coast USA. The ideal US-based candidate will take a solutions-oriented, consultative sales advisor approach, with a strong focus on new business development.

The Outside Sales Manager has the overall responsibility to build and cultivate the company’s customer base. Examples of responsibilities include:

• Manage and grow the customer base within the designated territory
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Present and demonstrate GGS’s diversified product offerings, focusing on custom solutions for each client.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales with a focus on long-term customer satisfaction.
• Provide top-tier customer service and support to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
• Focus on new business development, driving growth in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, horticulture, or a related field, plus 5 years relevant experience, or combination of both education and experience preferred.
• Sales and Business Development skills
• Enthusiastic with a drive to win.
• Solutions-oriented, consultative approach to sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Experience in territory management or sales role is preferred.
• Knowledge of greenhouse structures and horticulture industry is a plus but will train the right candidate.
