Job Description

Sports Research has an opportunity for an experienced, full-time NetSuite Software Engineer & Administrator (employee) to join our amazing team. This is not a consultant role. This employee will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining customized solutions within our NetSuite and Middleware platforms. They will manage system configurations, troubleshoot issues, implement improvements to meet the organization’s operational needs, and provide user training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript (JavaScript), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk, Oracle SQL and other NetSuite tools.
  • Performing system configuration and enhancement, including workflows, scripting, coding, and data integrations.
  • Conducting unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of customizations and configurations.
  • Developing and maintaining case management (and the structure) for case triaging.
  • Creating technical documentation and training materials for end-users and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of BI tools is a plus to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the use of NetSuite and related applications to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support the monitoring of the system performance and proactively address any potential issues.
  • Responsible for NetSuite data management, which includes master data governance and control.
  • Provide support with middleware connections and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards to drive business insights.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to end users, conducting training sessions to enhance user adoption.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for NetSuite Support and manage all aspects of front-line support related to NetSuite and data maintenance for our Torrance warehouse and San Pedro headquarters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Active NetSuite certification such as Administrator, SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, or NetSuite ERP Consultant.
  • Strong proficiency in SuiteScript (JavaScript), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics, HTML
  • Experience with SuiteScript 2.0 and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
  • Experience with REST/SOAP web services and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, etc.) and data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite modules and functionality, including financials, CRM, inventory, and order management, Warehouse Management (NetSuite WMS)
