Blyss is seeking a talented and passionate full-stack developer to join our team in creating a unique social meet-up application that schedules and facilitates city events for activity-goers. Help us unite people and foster meaningful connections with innovative solutions!

Position: Back-end or Full Stack Developer (Part-Time) 

Location: Remote

Compensation: Currently, this position is paid with equity only. Contract terms imply full-time employment when Blyss is funded.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain our cutting-edge social media software.
• Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, React, and React Native.
• Build robust and scalable applications and APIs using modern programming languages (for back-end positions).
• Engage in the full development cycle, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security through diligent testing and best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in the following languages, frameworks, and tools (e.g., JavaScript, React, React Native, VS Code, HTML, CSS, etc.).
• Fluency in database systems (Supabase, Typescript, Node.js, & AWS Software) and the ability to optimize queries and manage data effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
