Job Description

I am starting a search for a top consumer products client at the very top in their industry. This Media Lead will help drive topline growth and profitability by developing media plans and investment strategies that achieve brand and business objectives. You will be working in digital, traditional and emerging media as well as marketing message delivery. This role will manage a team and oversee the day-to-day operations as well as strategic direction and performance. You will partner with Customer Marketing and retail partners driving overall portfolio sales and category leadership.

• Provide strong thought leadership, translating business and brand objectives into media strategies and KPI-driven plans.
• Manage the media agency roster and direct the development and execution of industry-leading media programs.
• Lead agency contract negotiations and performance management reviews.
• Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to maximize ROI by improving media efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct media audits and performance analyses to continually optimize advertising investment.
• Oversee media budget management, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Ensure seamless execution of media initiatives and alignment with content strategy.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Brand Media Manager.

• Serve as the U.S. center-of-excellence / subject matter expert in paid media.

• Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional peers in eCommerce, Alternative Channels, Customer Marketing, PR and Consumer Insights & Analytics functions.
• Serve as lead point of contact with key media providers and keep current with latest offerings and opportunities.

Must be degreed with 15+ years national media strategy and investment; background can be client-side or agency side/blend.

Based in the Central US in a great city with good cost of living, we need a candidate who is open to relocation (this is not a remote based role) for the right opportunity.
