Job Description

JDP is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Weekend Shift in Southern Chicago near Chicago Heights.

Salary-$85k to $100k +bonus

Shift- Friday - Monday 9am-7:30om

Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards for our bakery products by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety, Quality Standards, and other company policies.
• Complete accurate and legible documentation. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure a clean, organized work area.
• Uphold safety policies, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, and report any unsafe practices or injuries. Work with your team to keep equipment in excellent condition and manage waste disposal.
• Lead and support the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and development. Establish effective working relationships and maintain open communication with all departments.
• Assist with managing spare parts inventory and purchasing as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive records, support quality control programs, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• Proven technical knowledge related to bakery maintenance and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices.
• Excellent clerical and communication skills for accurate documentation and effective interaction with diverse groups.
• Demonstrated experience in supervision, staffing, customer service, strategic planning, troubleshooting, technical understanding, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to manage a team effectively while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
