Job Description

Join Elite Austin, where we're not just a team— we're a work family that works well together, lifts up and supports one another (and have fun while doing it)! As a local design company specializing in home staging and furniture rental, we take pride in our collaborative and lively atmosphere that values work-life balance like it's a prized possession. Your day kicks off at 7:00 AM and wraps up by 3:30 PM, leaving the rest of your day and weekends wide open for adventures (or well-deserved Netflix binges!). Our benefits package is nothing short of fabulous, featuring medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus generous paid time off that grows with you over the years. Enjoy additional sick leave, paid company holidays, and some bonus holiday time to boot! We've got a 401k plan with matching contributions, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, and even a cell phone allowance. And the cherry on top? After two years, each year you'll earn a complimentary five-night stay at the Elite Retreat in Puerta Vallarta, complete with two round-trip plane tickets after three years! As we continue to grow and thrive, you'll have endless opportunities to develop your skills, advance your career, and build your resume—all while making a real impact in our vibrant community.

We're on the lookout for a spirited Logistics Project Manager to lead the day-to-day of our Logistics Department. If you're brimming with energy, love to lead a team, and have a knack for keeping things organized (while maybe adding a splash of fun!), you could be our perfect fit! You'll be managing a dynamic crew of 4-6, keeping our trusty fleet of four company-owned trucks in tip-top shape, and ensuring our daily routes run as smoothly as butter on a hot pancake.

Are you a self-starter who isn't afraid to be on your feet most of the day and jump in on the routes 3-4 days a week? This is an active position that will require providing hands-on training while delivering the Elite Experience to each client. If you've got a problem-solving mindset and can keep your cool amidst the chaos, you'll fit right in!

Prior leadership experience is a must, as this role involves building relationships, training your crew, and giving constructive feedback like a pro. And don't worry—we believe in nurturing our leaders, so additional training will be on the menu!

We're all about finding individuals who are seeking a fulfilling career, not just another job. At Elite Austin, we're committed to personal development that aligns with your unique skills, interests, and goals.

We take care of our team like they're family. Our full-time logistics positions come packed with benefits: medical, dental, paid time off, paid holidays, extra sick leave, short- and long-term disability, parental leave, and a matching 401k. Oh, and did we mention shoe reimbursement? Flexibility is also part of the package, with leave without pay available if you need it.

We work hard, and we play hard! Our quarterly company events are a time for fun and relaxation—whether it's showing off your golf skills at TopGolf or enjoying a leisurely cruise on Lady Bird Lake, we love to connect and spend time together!

Compensation: $48,000 - $52,000 per year DOE + Quarterly bonuses opportunities

Compensation:

$48,000 - $52,000 per year DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and Manage Route Operations : You'll be the captain of the ship (or truck) for our logistics team! Each route (2-3 per day) usually consists of one installation with a designer and one "move out" with just the logistics crew. Kick off the day with morning meetings to set everyone up for success!
  • Be Hands-On : Expect to roll up your sleeves and perform route duties 3-4 days a week, delivering the Elite Experience to our clients. You'll lead by example, ensuring all quality control and property protection procedures are followed. Going above and beyond for our clients is what we do best!
  • Train and Develop Your Team : You'll be the cheerleader for your crew, keeping quality control a top priority and making sure everyone is on the same page with current procedures. Continuous improvement is our daily mantra!
  • Provide Dispatch-Style Support : Keep the lines of communication open! Update the crew with new info and tackle any challenges that pop up during the day. Reroute crews when they need a little extra help!
  • Route Scheduling and Planning : Be the mastermind behind scheduling each crew member on the company calendar. Formulate the most efficient routes possible and add extra hands if needed to keep things running smoothly.
  • Truck Maintenance and Repairs : Schedule repairs and preventative services to keep our fleet running like a dream. Make sure truck cleanings and other maintenance are handled like clockwork!
Qualifications:
  • You've got superb interpersonal communication skills (in person and on the phone) to connect with co-workers across all departments.
  • Prior leadership experience is essential, along with a willingness to give constructive feedback—no sugarcoating needed!
  • You're a role model in professionalism, setting the standard for your team.
  • You're able to lift and carry furniture weighing up to 75 pounds—strong arms, here we come!
  • You've got experience in furniture assembly and repair, and you're comfortable using tools.
  • You're capable of standing, moving, bending, and carrying for extended periods.
  • You handle stressful situations like a champ and meet deadlines with ease.
  • You're willing to work in warehouse and outdoor environments—bring on the fresh air!
  • You have a professional appearance and can always be counted on for punctuality.
  • You radiate positivity, are a team player, and approach work with flexibility.
  • You've got strong problem-solving skills and love to offer solutions when challenges arise.
  • Attention to detail? You've got it! Organizational skills are your jam.
  • You can prioritize and juggle multiple tasks like a pro.
  • You adapt quickly to our fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • You have strong integrity, accountability, and a self-motivated mindset.
  • A clean driving record is a must for this role!
