The Director of Human Resources will lead and manage all aspects of human resources strategy and operations, fostering a high-performance culture within a dynamic commercial general contracting environment. This role involves driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, professional development, and organizational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
• Build and maintain a positive organizational culture that promotes growth, safety, and collaboration.
• Oversee performance management, employee relations, and professional development programs.
• Manage compensation, benefits, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in construction or a similar industry.
• 5+ years of experience in an Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate Development, or Construction setting.
• Strong knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to foster positive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
