GYN Pathology
Academic faculty rank commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Sante Consulting has recently been engaged by Baylor College of Medicine to conduct a national search for a Director of GYN Pathology.
The Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is seeking an academically oriented, highly skilled and motivated GYN Pathologist with outstanding diagnostic expertise to join our team. The role is primarily suited to BCM sites within the Texas Medical Center (the world’s largest medical center) with a focus at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center (BSLMC). In addition, we envision surgical pathology expertise to be applied remotely to our operation within our Community Pathology Associates network, which regionally serves over 40 medical facilities in Texas.
The ideal candidate must have strong GYN pathology diagnostic skills and expertise and desire to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The candidate is expected to contribute to the educational, scholarly, and translational research activities of the department. The candidate should be eligible for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. Annually, our BCM pathology faculty in Texas generate diagnoses on over 170,000 surgical specimens that include a plethora of complex resections and biopsies. The successful candidate will be working closely with our solid organ transplant center and NCI designated Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Regular opportunities are available for teaching in the School of Medicine and the Graduate School.
Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience, academic rank, accomplishments, and track record of achievements. BCM is an equal opportunity employer, and the department and college support inclusive excellence and diversity.

Subspecialty surgical pathology fellowship training is desired in the areas of GYN and Breast Pathology.
