Job Description

The Entry Level Events Assistant will support the event planning and coordination efforts of the company. This role involves assisting with event preparation, executing event logistics, and ensuring smooth operations during events. The assistant will work closely with the events team to learn and contribute to the success of various company events.

Salary range:

$1150 - $1350 /week

THIS WILL BE AN OFFICE JOB AND CANDIDATES MUST WORK IN THE OFFICE WITHIN THE NEXT 3 WEEKS

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including meetings, conferences, and promotional activities.
  • Help organize event materials, liaise with vendors, and manage setup and breakdown procedures.
  • Support in on-site event management and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure events meet client and company expectations.
  • Maintain event schedules and timelines to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare event recaps and gather feedback for future event improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework or degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency with office software and familiarity with event management tools is a plus.
  • Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
