Job Description
Our client, a reputable Travel & Leisure company in Miami, Florida is looking to add a talented and creative copywriter to their team immediately. In order to be successful, the copywriter must have an advertising background w/ focus on writing short form copy that is clever, cheeky and quippy but who can also come up with campaign ideas and thrive in fast-paced environments. The copywriter will concept and create copy for integrated campaigns, emails, social media, web pages, digital campaigns, banner ads, paid and organic media, print and direct mailers. This is an ongoing freelance contract opportunity, that is 40 hours weekly. This opportunity is hybrid, 4 days onsite in the downtown Miami area.
Responsibilities:- Write, edit, and proofread copy for campaigns, digital, email, banner ads, social media, direct mail, print collateral, displays, special projects, and other forms of media. (emphasis in social media content)
- Partner with key stakeholders in client areas to devise and drive business strategies through creative work.
- Drive brand consistency through ongoing implementation of brand guidelines for copy.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while collaboratively with the design team.
- Develop copy to bring to life the brand voice while following guidelines through the development and implementation.
- Collaborate with both internal creatives and external agencies to support projects.
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of creative copywriting experience stemming from ad agency, brand, or in house creative environment.
- 4+ years of copywriting experience writing for 360 campaigns as well as short and long form copywriting for campaigns, digital, social media, and print work within a fast-paced environment.
- Focus on writing short form copy with clever, quippy writing style.
- Creative thinker who is conceptual and can come up with campaign ideas but also roll up sleeves and get work done.
- Demonstrated success in creating copy and content showcased within your portfolio including 360 campaigns, broadcast/TV, digital, and print work.
- Nice to have experience: travel, leisure, luxury and or hospitality industry experience.
- Ability to work onsite 4 days a week in the downtown Miami area.
