About Us

The Curiosity Box is a premium science subscription box service. This is a rare opportunity for a hugely creative Video Content Creator / Marketing Assistant to join us and work with our talented team, including our well-known Founder.

This is an ideal entry-level role for someone who’s full of amazing ideas, who’s created engaging social media content / videos either professionally or personally (we are not looking for a high level of experience) and is willing and eager to learn more about the content marketing creation process. 

Who we’re looking for 

You’ll have some relevant Content Marketing experience, gained within an internship, developing your own projects or in a similar role within a fast-growth business. You’ll also be: 

• Passionate about social media and content marketing
• Experienced in social media content creation (personal or professional)
• Skilled in creating engaging product videos
• Organized, creative, and eager to learn
• Used to a working environment, even if it’s part-time through college 
• Based in Los Angeles
• We’d love you to have some passion about what we do too, of course! 

What You’ll Do

Plan, create, and optimize short-form video content for social media and ads (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

Film product-orientated and seasonal sales videos with the VSauce Founder

Work with editors and social media managers to maximize content creation and reach

Assist in email marketing, landing pages, and marketing campaigns

Support our Marketing Manager in social media advertising and promotions

About You:

You'll also have:

• Experience creating highly engaging social / video content either in a personal or professional capacity. You MUST have created highly creative, interesting and influential videos, even if for your own personal use.
• About 1 year of experience in video or social media content creation
• A self-starter who stays on top of social media trends
• Familiarity with Vsauce or a passion for science is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• A strong desire to learn digital marketing strategies (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Ads
