McLean Contracting Company is looking to hire Divers to join our team in the Chesapeake, VA and Baltimore, MD areas. Divers are responsible for completing underwater construction activities using surface supplied air gear to inspect, repair, remove, or install equipment and/or structures, and use a variety of power and hand tools, such as drills, hammers, torches, and welding equipment.
Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of related experience, and a comprehensive knowledge of diving equipment and industry requirements. Must be proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
Other Skills and Abilities
Must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation to work and able to pass a physical. Must be able to pass a Homeland Security background check to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
