Position: CNC Mill Operator

Location: Corry, PA

Salary: $21 - $26/Hour

PrideNow is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Mill Operator to join our team in Corry, PA. This full-time or part-time position offers flexible hours on both 1st and 2nd shifts, with a substantial shift differential for 2nd shift employees.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of CNC Milling experience and be responsible for machining customer parts to exact specifications, optimizing machine performance, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up CNC mills to machine parts according to specified tolerances.
• Upload and download programs from machine controls and make necessary edits for optimal performance.
• Perform quality assurance inspections and document results in inspection logs.
• Maintain tooling inventory and manage materials as required.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges from machined parts.
• Assist with machine maintenance and training of new operators.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement training under ISO-9001 standards.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate quality concerns and seek opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Handle material as needed when move personnel are unavailable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2+ years CNC Milling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions and decimals.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent walking and standing, occasional reaching above shoulders.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Requires close vision and color vision.

Work Environment:

• Moderate to loud noise levels in a shop environment.
• Safety glasses and safety shoes are required.
• Indoor work environment near moving mechanical parts.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with 5-axis CNC Milling is highly desirable.
