Job Description

The Chief of Staff plays a pivotal role ensuring that cross-functional alignment, operational efficiency, and strategic execution are achieved at all levels of the organization. You will act as a strategic partner to our leadership team, responsible for managing high-priority initiatives, enhancing cross-departmental communication, and serving as a key driver of organizational effectiveness. The Chief of Staff serves as the trusted voice to articulate and execute operational strategies. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact, dynamic environment and in proactively identifying, and then moving quickly to action, on numerous key opportunities and deliverables simultaneously. Along with working closely with the Company leadership team, the Chief of Staff will partner often with Company’s sponsor, Related Fund Management (“RFM”), to report on and analyze aspects of Company performance and to implement long-term strategic goals. The incumbent must interface well with others to create a positive work environment and healthy team culture. This role is in office full time and located in our Lakeland FL location.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of major initiatives across the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to the executive team.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes by distilling complex issues into actionable items.
  • Provide high-level operational support to the CEO and other senior leaders.
  • Manage and drive priority projects to completion, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects, balancing multiple key high-priority items with lower-priority, longer-term Company strategic initiatives.
  • Create and optimize processes to streamline communication and project flow across departments.
  • Track the progress of key initiatives, reporting updates and outcomes to the leadership team.
  • Act as a liaison between the executive team and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to promote a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration accounting, finance, or similar field.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience preferred as chief of staff, banking, corporate finance, strategic planning, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Experience in supply chain, cold storage, third-party logistics or real estate preferred

  • Strong understanding of organizational dynamics with the ability to anticipate and address operational needs.
  • High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and uphold company values.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, consider various perspectives, and propose effective solutions.
  • Skill at maintaining composure and fostering a sense of calm, even when managing urgent priorities
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize important tasks over others.
  • Ability to listen and take direction agreeably.
