Position Summary:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with the current office manager to oversee various administrative and operational functions, including purchasing, facility management, employee benefits, and accounting tasks such as payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing: Manage office supplies and equipment procurement, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and maintaining inventory levels.
Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the office, including coordinating with vendors and service providers for repairs and improvements.
Employee Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Accounting Functions: Handle various accounting tasks, including payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing office communications, and maintaining records.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including working with the current office manager.
Compensation:
- Pay range: $30 - $40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
