Job Description

Remedy (a division of Employbridge) is honored to have been selected to support a very valued partner of ours in the Southtowns as they embark on a critical search for a customer savvy Key Account Manager to join their team. This Key Account Manager will be tasked with building and maintaining meaningful relationships with existing customers and leads, ensuring all service levels are met and driving growth through tailored solutions. Job Title: Key Account Manager

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire/In-person

Pay: $65,000 - $70,000, depending upon experience

Essential duties for this Key Account Manager will include:

  • Support existing customer base, drive customer retention and growth through strategic account planning and relationship building
  • Oversee customer accounts and provide custom, effective solutions to their business needs
  • Manage customer quotes
  • Design and present tailored presentations to prospective and existing customers effectively communicating capabilities with the goal to gain customer trust and win their business
  • Work closely with Operations and Customer Service Department to ensure customer’s needs and required service levels are being met
  • Act as customer point of contact to resolve any issues related to their account/service
  • Maintain a working knowledge of domestic and international freight routing/systems
  • Occasional travel to customer sites and/or trade shows for meetings, presentations, and conferences

The Key Account Manager we're looking for will possess the following background profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field is REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of prior experience in a sales, account management or similar role
  • Tech savvy with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and CRM/Salesforce
  • Meticulous data entry abilities, along with strong organization skills including attention to detail and follow through
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must as you will be interacting with internal and external customers!
