Company Description
The Math Agency's mission is to close educational gaps in public schools. Over the last several years, students in our programs have doubled how quickly they learn math, even in some of the most disadvantaged schools in the state of Washington. Our partner schools have become some of the highest performing schools in the entire state in terms of math growth as measured via state standardized tests.
Role Description
This part-time role is for an academic coach/tutor. You will work with a small group of 4–5 students in grades 3 through 5. With the support of high-quality digital learning tools, your primary goal will be to keep students engaged and excited about learning. You'll also be responsible for keeping notes of your coaching sessions, tracking data on student learning, and writing notes for their families.
This is an in-person position in Bellevue, Washington. We have coaching sessions available from 11:45am to 4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We ask that you coach a minimum of two sessions per week. The position will end in mid-June.
