Kenyan Officer Killed in Bow-and-Arrow Attack at President’s Residence

Who would ever believe that this women will become another Africa’s Political Monster?
U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, a member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, has denounced the re-election of Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan as fraudulent, urging Washington to review its ties with the East African nation.
In a post on X, Shaheen accused the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party of endangering the safety of Tanzanian citizens and tourists during the election. Her comments follow reports from the opposition CHADEMA, which alleged that over 700 people were killed during post-election protests.
Despite international concern from the EU, UK, Canada, Norway, and rights groups, Tanzania’s electoral body declared Ms. Hassan the winner with 98% of the vote. The opposition has rejected the results, accused authorities of covering up killings, and called on the International Criminal Court to investigate.
Ms. Hassan, who first took office in 2021 after the death of President John Magufuli, was sworn in for another term in Dodoma under tight security.
