UN Agencies Urge Swift International Response to Worsening Humanitarian Crisis in Sudan

Former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga has died while receiving treatment at a hospital in Kerala, India, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
Odinga, 80, had been in India for medical care when he passed away, according to sources close to his family. Details of the cause of death have not yet been released.
A towering figure in Kenyan politics for decades, Odinga served as Prime Minister from 2008 to 2013 and was a leading opposition figure who contested multiple presidential elections.
The Kenyan government and Odinga’s family are expected to release an official statement later today.
