China Alerts Its Nationals to Danger of Becoming Forced Laborers in Central African Republic

The African Union (AU) has suspended Madagascar’s membership following disputed presidential elections, citing concerns over irregularities and lack of transparency in the vote.
The decision comes just days before the planned swearing-in of president-elect Andry Rajoelina, whose victory has been contested by opposition groups.
In a statement, the AU said Madagascar will remain suspended until constitutional order is fully restored and an inclusive political dialogue is established. The suspension bars the country from participating in AU meetings and voting processes.
The move follows mounting tensions in Antananarivo, where protests have erupted amid claims of electoral manipulation and voter intimidation. The AU urged all parties to resolve disputes peacefully and called for respect of democratic principles.
