Cairo Summit to Redefine Accounting in the Arab World with Focus on Sustainability and Tech

Cairo will host a regional accountants’ summit on Sunday, focusing on sustainability, digital transformation, and financial transparency in the Arab world.

Organized by the Arab Federation of Accountants and Auditors (AFAA) under the patronage of Egypt’s Prime Minister, the conference aims to position accountants as key players in sustainable economic development.

International leaders from IFAC, PAFA, and other global bodies will attend, with sessions addressing the integration of sustainability in financial reporting and the impact of digital tools on the profession. Organizers hope the event will mark a turning point for the region’s accounting sector.
